As my (few) loyal (?!?) readers undoubtedly know, I reside in San Antonio, Tejas. Yes, make the village idiot jokes now, get them out of your collective system, please.

As pretty much everyone knows, Hurricane Ike paid Galveston, and environs, a rather nasty visit this past weekend. The scope of which is now starting to be reported, including images of the devastation. My meager words cannot begin to describe the pain of those affected, nor of my awe at the power demonstrated through the destruction meted out by the storm.

Images of the region are at the following link.

My heart goes out to those now suffering.

First - it seems I have 2 specific IP addresses that are my 'regular' visitors. It's nice that they're hitting me daily, but I'd like more 'real' readers.

Obviously, that means I need to provide more content, and probably be more interesting. heh.
I'll try to do more of both
